Clarkesville Fall Festival & History Harvest

Downtown Clarkesville kicks off the fall season with music on the square, art and craft vendors, food trucks along Jefferson Street, and history demonstrations at the Historic Mauldin House and Gardens. It is an easy drive down Highway 197 from Burton.

At the Mauldin House, historical artisans, authors and speakers lead book signings, crafts and demonstrations, with tours of the 1880s farmhouse, the 1900s hat shop and the 1820s pioneer cabin. The Old Clarkesville Cemetery is open for guided tours, and the downtown entertainment district lets you stroll with a glass of beer or wine from the local restaurants.

The festival runs 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday, October 17, and admission and parking are free. Details are on Explore Georgia.
