Follow a park ranger across the Tallulah Gorge floor, river crossings and all.

Tallulah Gorge State Park rangers lead a guided hike to the floor of the gorge, so you can experience one of Georgia's most dramatic landscapes without having to find the route yourself. The group meets at the Jane Hurt Yarn Interpretive Center, 338 Jane Hurt Yarn Drive in Tallulah Falls, and the program runs 8:00 AM to noon.
Plan for a technical, strenuous morning: two river crossings, rock scrambling, and an 800 foot climb back out of the gorge. Bring at least four bottles of water per person, plus snacks.
The hike is $20 per person, and a valid Georgia State Parks ParkPass is required. An RSVP is required, so contact the park at 706-754-7981 or through the event page to save a spot.
