Dinner and a live auction of ten private water trophy trout trips on the Soque.
The Soque River Watershed Association hosts its third annual trophy trout auction, where guests bid on ten premier fly fishing trips for two anglers on private Soque River water. Experienced anglers and beginners alike are welcome.
The evening opens with hors d'oeuvres at 5:30 PM, followed by a prime beef carving station dinner at 6:00 PM and the auction from 7:00 to 8:30 PM. Proceeds support the association's water quality testing and riverbank restoration work.
The event takes place at the North Georgia Technical College Industrial Technology Center, 1500 Georgia Highway 197 North in Clarkesville. Coming from Clarkesville, turn right onto Loop Drive and follow the SRWA signs. Dress is casual, and cash, checks, credit cards, and Venmo are accepted. The auction sold out last year, so reserve early on Eventbrite.
